Presentation
The law firm Köppinger – Drewes – Müller specializes in providing legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses. It draws on deep experience and competence in commercial law, corporate law and economic law on both a national and international level. Additionally, special language skills (English, French and Dutch) are offered.

In 1977 the law firm was founded by the lawyer Dr. Köppinger at Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle). This location was chosen because of its proximity to the universities and colleges at Aachen and its special central position within Europe.

The lawyer Jürgen Drewes is the former managing director of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce at Aachen. He joined the law office in mid-2013.

The law firm is committed to providing comprehensive legal advice to clients, largely small and medium-sized businesses but also including a number of German and International Corporates.

One of the central aims of the law firm is to provide anticipatory legal advice and activities, as well as preventative ‘representation of interest and mediation’ instead of long drawn-out legal action.

The limited number of lawyers in the team guarantees individual and permanent support and attention to the needs of each client. The statement “small is beautiful” commits the lawyers and staff of the firm to use clear and transparent methods and holistic support structures.

Although the law firm Köppinger  Drewes – Müller is rooted in the Aachen region, it is   active at both a national and international level. The firm draws on the founder`s longstanding experience advising and supporting legal departments in a wide range of companies and organisations. Active cooperation with qualified lawyers, tax consultants and auditors in and outside Germany complement the founder`s own expertise.

The following table shows the fields of special interest and counselling that the law firm Köppinger  Drewes – Müller focuses on:

    • Economic law
    • Commercial law and corporate law
    • Product liability
    • Labour law
    • Landlord and Tenant law

In addition to classic legal counselling and representation (legal conception, preparation and formulation of contracts, claim management and conducting lawsuits), the law firm Köppinger  Drewes – Müller also provides training and seminars on legal topics by request. To guarantee successful training results, these courses are individually adjusted according to each client`s needs and requirements.

For example, a French estate is available for offsite residential seminars, workshops and brainstorming.  This French estate provides a particularly suitable environment to develop and deepen corporate identity and culture, as well as relations between senior management and executives (of individual companies or groups of companies and between cooperation partners).
